Hack five vulnerable hosts and get their flags. The task will be made trickier by the intrusion detection system, which will filter traffic and block attempted network attacks. The vulnerabilities will be well-known ones, so participants will only need to focus on bypassing the IDS.
You can get a refresher on the subject at Network Village. Security experts from Positive Technologies and the DC7831 and DC2e06 communities will make presentations on various topics, including IDS bypassing.
All participants, regardless of knowledge level, are welcome.
The contest will end at 2:30 p.m. on May 22.
Participants need a laptop with Wi-Fi. An Ethernet adapter will be helpful.
First prize is a WiFi Pineapple TETRA
